Good Morning List,

I have a dilemma that I hope someone can get me out of.

Guillaume Gosselin (father) and Guillaume Gosselin (son) seem to share
wives.

PRDH has Guillaume Gosselin (father) married to Genevieve Gravel, Marie
Josephe Bidet-dit-Roussel and Marie-Jeanne Bouteiller.
Guillaume Gosselin (son) married to Marie-Louise Bouteiller & possibly
Marie-Josephe Bidet-dit-Roussel.

BMS has Guillaume Gosselin (son) married to Marie-Josephe Bidet-dit-Roussel
& Louise Bouteiller.
Guillaume Gosselin (father) married to Genevieve Gravel.
It has Marie-Jeanne Bouteiller married to Guillaume Gosselin s/o, ?
Gosselin, and no mother, widower of Marie-Josephe Bidet-dit-Roussel.

I think Guillaume (father) is married to Genevieve Gravel & Marie-Jeanne
Bouteiller and Guillaume (son) is married to Marie-Josephe Bidet and
Marie-Louise Bouteiller.
Hope someone can prove me right or wrong just as long as I get it
straightened out.

Here are the marriage dates:
Guillaume Gosselin & Gravel21 April 1718 (She died 1736)
Guillaume Gosselin & Jeanne Bouteiller27 July 1742 (She died 1787)
Guillaume Gosselin & Louise Bouteiller21 Oct 1741 (She married 3 more times
after Guillaume's death)
Guillaume Gosselin & Bidet1Sept 1737 (She died Dec 1741)

Looking at the death dates I see it is possible that Guillaume (father) may
have had 3 wives and Guillaume (son) only one.
