It's all "boule de gomme et mystere" and I have solved it!
There is no such person as "Genevieve Deschamps".
After consulting with other esteemed researcher and following suggestions
made by him I did a little poking about in the RAB du PRDH.
My first finding is that Marie-Francoise Bouchard Dorval was married prior
to her marriage to Pierre Elie Breton.
The marriage was short and in 1747 she remarried. The marriage to Pierre
Elie Breton took place at St Vallier on April 10, 1747 and in this redaction
of the PRDH, # 102758, Francoise is named "DUBAUD, la veuve". This Pierre
"Hely" is the son of Marie Gourmelon and Pierre, the father. The note of the
researcher states: "Le nom du defunt epoux de la mariee a ete omis."
Researching further I found:
She married Pierre Dubeau/Dubos/Dubaud, son of Pierre and Marie-Angelique
Reaume. She is the daughter of Charles and Marie-Madeleine Gosselin. They
married at Chateau=Richer on July 31, 1741, PRDH # 140141. They had three
children and in the records of their baptisms she is indicated as
"Angelique" in one redaction.
I then cruised the records and found no references as a "dit" to "DESCHAMPS"
in any of the patrynoms.
I then browsed the baptisms of the children that she had with Pierre Elie
Breton. Coming to the child Jean Baptiste Hely, born at St. Vallier and
baptized the same day - December 21, 1749, PRDH # 102677, I found "Genevieve
Dorval".
So, I conclude that when this boy married, having the incorrect name, the
mother became "Genevieve Deschamps".

I thought I had answered your e-mail a couple of months ago.
In the meantime, I changed my computer a few weeks ago and I have lost many
of my previous correspondence, and probably the one that was for you.
Therefore, I made a new research and here is what I have found.
- Basile Roy married Adelaide Leclerc 26-10-1830 in St. Henri de Lauzon
(south side of the St. Laurence River, in front of Quebec City). Leclerc was
the daughter of François Leclerc and Marie-Josette Collet. Basile was the
son of the following.
- François Roy married (3rd time) Therese Beaudoin, 5-10-1801 in St.
François, Riviere du sud (Montmagny county). Beaudoin was the daughter of
Jacques Beaudoin and Marie-Genevieve Vermet. 2nd marriage was with Françoise
Larochelle, 26-5-1792, in St. François; François's first marriage was with
Marthe Remillard, 28-1-1782 in St. François. François was the son of the
following
- Augustin Roy married (2nd time) Catherine Dorval 11-8-1750 in St. Pierre,
Ile d'Orleans (a few miles east of Quebec City). Augustin's first marriage
was with Agathe Aube, 15-2-1740 in St. Vallier. Augustin was the son of the
following.
- Jean-Baptiste Roy married (2nd time) Claire Cadrin 17-10-1701 in St.
Michel de Bellechasse. His first marriage was with Marguerite Bazin,
17-11-1698 in St. Michel. He was the son of the following.
- Nicolas Roy and Jeanne Lelievre, original ancestors in New-France.

original marriage acts from micro-films that you can find in serious
Genealogical Associations or from Quebec or Canada Archives. For your
