No, they did not keep her body baking in the sun waiting for the priest to return!

The record specifies that the priest blessed with the usual ceremonies of burial the grave where she had been buried on the day following her death.

Need someone to help with Drouin Collection - L'Isle Verte (St. Jean
Baptiste) image 122 burial of Madeleine Saindon, wife of Benjamin Levasseur. I
think it says the burial was recorded on July 24th, 1793 and the death date was
the 26th of the previous month.

Does it say anywhere what the actual burial date was, as it appears she
wouldn't have laid around for a month in the middle of summer......phew!!!

She had a son, Firmin, recorded on July 23 and born on June 10. baptism
record states mother was already deceased.
