Subject: [Q-R] A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS !
Date: Mon, 24 Dec 2007 02:14:04 -0500
My Christmas Menu:
Shrimp Cocktail with Cocktail Sauce
Roast Chicken with Bread and Sausage Stuffing
Mashed Potatoes with Home Made Roast Chicken Gravy
Traditional Green Bean Casserole
Whole Cranberry Sauce (Ocean Spray seems to have the same recipe as mine so I use theirs)
Pilsbury Dinner Rolls
Home Made Mincemeat Pie with Hard Sauce (Crosse & Blackwell made the sauce at their house)
Followed by a shot of Sambuca or Grand Marnier straight-up
Freshly Decanted Fresca on the rocks with all courses
And of course Tobias S Cat gets a finely minced shrimp, half of which he will probably eat too fast and lose somewhere in the house for me to find and clean up later. The other half he will leave and walk haughtily away from with that why-would-you-ever-think-I-would-eat-such-a-thing attitude.
To all a very Merry Christmas... and let's all be thankful it comes only once a year! I really hate cleaning up after Toby.
