Hi Florent
When PRDH gives Montreal for the place of a marriage it means Notre-Dame de
Montreal. (Catholic)
I just check the CD and it's in N-D
It also says the groom was 23 years old. the bride was 20. His parents were
from Ireland and the bride's father was deceased at the time of her
marriage.
Good luck
Renee

Hi Renee,
Thank you for your reply.
Would you know in with church they were married? Was it catholic or
protestant, Anglican?
Wonder if the register is giving his trade......
Thanks

Renee
I am looking for confirmation of the marriage's location and parents to
Daniel McNeil and Catherine Manseau in Montreal on Oct. 27th. 1777.
I would have a potential set of parents for Daniel: John & Jane MacKay.
Is he a soldier from the 1756-1763 war?
Thanks
