>From the Drouin Records for St. Louis de Kamouraska, document page (and Ancestry image) #8, I get a marriage for Jean Baptiste Coste and Magdelaine le Marquis as follows:

"On 9 January 1769 after the publication of three bans of marriage at the parish masses of this church between Jean Baptiste Coste ??1 ??2 Monsieur Daigre widower of Magdelaine Rioux habitants of the parish of Saint Jean Baptiste of Isle Verte and Magdelaine le Marquis daughter of Francois le Marquis and Marianne Boucher.........."

Question: Can anyone figure out the two words ??1 and ??2.

I was hoping it might help me with figuring out who the Jean Baptiste Coste was that married Marie Anne Roy back on 5 May 1773 in St Louis de Kamouraska.
