Dear Cousins:

I/We can't thank you enough for your thoughtfullnes and your prayers for Timmy's recovery.

None of the tests done yesterday on Timmy, including a spinal tap, showed any sign of infection or disease. Very perplexing situation and worrisome as he was not fully alert or aware of his surroundings.

The news this morning was that Timmy had a good night although a bit restless. The doctors are giving the diagnosis as a head injury even though he had no fall, no bruises, lumps, bumps or cuts - but until they do an EEG there is nothing else to define the seizure.

He was released from hospital today and I spoke to him a short time ago; he said he felt good, complains of a headache and doesn't remember anything from yesterday. My daughter-in-law suspects that he may have had a really severe migraine - but who knows. Until he has that EEG he cannot do any physical activity that would take him off the ground such as swimming, bike riding or climbing because of the danger of falling. That will be a bit tough on this eleven year old who thinks the world is his personal playground.

So there you have it. Perhaps he is just one of those kids who has one seizure in his life and never again... and we certainly hope that is the case.

Thank you for your heartfelt concern, good wishes and mostly for your prayers. We are humbled by the support you gave us so willingly.

Now it's our turn to pray for you all.

Doreen
