The 1880 USA Census for Franklin County, NY shows the following family in Malone:



Nelson Trushaw(sic) age 60, W, born Canada, Laborer

Eliza Trushaw, age 55, W, born Canada, keeping house

Mary Ann Trushaw, age 80, W, born Canada, at home



Same Census and same location for:



John Trushaw, age 43, W, born Canada, Laborer

Mary Trushaw, age 35, W, born Canada, keeping house

Trushaw children all born NY State:

Mary - age 12

John - age 15

Joseph - age 10

Alice - age 8

Mathilda - age 5

Nellie - age 16
