Good morning Joan,

Jean-Baptiste Rioux (S3) died on Jan.7 and was buried Jan. 8, 1800. The
original PRDH covers all acts from 1621 to 1799. The online PRDH (pay site)
has published an extension to the original database to include burials from
1800 to 1850 for those aged 50 or more. The detailed criteria used to select
which acts were chosen may be consulted at this link

Because Jean-Baptiste died at age 46 years and 5 months, this burial was not
included in the extended database.

Regarding your question if this is the correct Jean-Baptiste, you would have
to find his baptism some 46 years and 5 months before the death. If I
calculated correctly, he should have been baptized sometime around July
1753.
