Well, first of all, I would publish the name of my grandparents, grgrandparents, approximate date of birth/marriage/death (if available) and place, someone on this list MIGHT be researching the same family...

1. Charles Larin Sr (no dates known) m Angelique Lecompte (b abt 1802- d aft 1885) Charles Jr had siblings, but unknown how many/gender. Believe one was Joseph Larin

....2....Charles Larin Jr (1824 in St Hyancinthe-1885) m Delima Larose (abt 1841), m Azilda Olignay (bet 1841-1871) and m Azilda Lafortune (1871). Total he sired 27 children only 11 surviving to adulthood [Azilda Olignay did not live long after their marriage per the copy of Charles Jr's obit. Azilda Lafortune bore 7 children; only 3 surviving. I am presuming Delima Larose was the mother of the majority of the other 20]. Charles owned a livery service, was a horse dealer/trader, and owned/ran the City Hotel.

.......................4......Anita (Unsure whether her mother was Julia or Bertha) m ? Dompierre had 3 boys (bet 1925-1935) one of which was named Jean-Guy Dompierre, who immigrated to eastern CT in the 1950-1960 range

...........3.........Leda Larin (b 1876-d 1951 in NY) m (I am presuming in St-Jean-Baptiste Parrish) Edward Arthur Gosselin (The only thing I know about my gr-grandfather is he was born in 1872-died in 1925 in NY, and was an accountant at the time of his daughter, Marguerite's birth)

.......................4......Marie Madeline Marguerite Germaine Gosselin (1900-1976) Baptised April 24 1900 in St-Jean-Baptiste a Montreal. Married in NYC
