I have a September ? 1941 date of death for a Roman Catholic person.
ROBERT PATRICK AHEARN
He is said to have died in Montreal.
Does anyone know what cemetaries I should ask for help,
or is there any records of obits available to search?
He was born in Quebec and was Roman catholic.
Married June 27, 1917 to Miss Jones either in Quebec prov. or Ont. She was from the Sault area and I do not know if she was Catholic. father Finnish, mother Native Indian. Is there a way to find the religion they married in?
If the wife was not catholic, would the marriage have been accepted by the church? And if not catholic, would the church have given him his rights and buried him in the catholic cemetery?
Looking for answers and names from obit of other relatives.
Much obliged for any help,
June in BC
