Hi Norm;
Just to relieve John a little, although he can probably add a lot to this,
here's what Virginia Easly DeMarce says.
Felix Harton, from Anhalt, son of Jean/Hans and Angelique Martin of
Weilbourg, Germany, married 10 january 1785 at St-Roch-des-Aulnais to
Angelique Gauvin, d/o Jacques and Marie-Marguerite Castonguay; Felix
Hartung, age 28, born Stockhauen, Schwartzburg, Capt. Gogel's Co., Anhalt
Zerbst Reg't., muster roll 20 June 1782 (Reidesel Papers II.31). Part of
this info is confirmed in John's book The Hessians in Quebec.
