Hello folks,
a sunny Good Morning from Lake Ontario,
temperature outside my window is + 2 Celsius (35 Fahrenheit)
I set all my clocks last night before going to sleep and did not
notice that we had to get up an hour earlier this morning.
Switched on my computer and a flag told me that the computer
adjusted to summertime automatically, oh how smart -
how come then that after I spend a half hour composing a
good report to my lists, that suddenly a flag appears telling me
'you performed an illegal operation, and your computer will shut down',
and it does, and a half hour's worth of 'deep thinking' disappears, never
to be seen again?
Or what makes me wonder when my Norton Antivirus check programm
kicks in every Friday night, and after 57 minutes tells me that it has
checked all 87854 files in my computer and found them virus free.
87854 files in my computer, what the heck are these?
Such are the wonders of the new computer tech world, us old brains get lost
in all this innovations. And I have trouble setting my clock in my VCR!!
Anyway, have a nice Sunday everyone, and dream of the 'good ol' times',
Cheers,
John
