Dear list, I am interested in corresponding with anyone who may
have a connection to my lineage. I am 3/4's French Canadian - second
generation on my paternal line and third generation on my maternal
side. My father will be 88 this year, the youngest of 12, who was
born in a Lumber camp in Michigan's UP. I have about over 4,000
persons in my data bank. I am 11th generation Hebert from Antoine
brother of Etienne, Rocheleau's and Coutu's immigrating from the
Montreal area, and my Simard and Levesque family immigrating
from Ilse Verte, Gaspe region. Both my maternal and paternal
grandmothers are connected through Hermine Cote. My grandfather
Pierre Jean Hebert immigrated from Maniwaki, Quebec in the early
1880's rather quickly after a reported fight after Mass one Sunday.
Sincerely, Jayne A. Hebert
