Paul Nichols wanted to do something good and mailed this
to me, and here it is.
I would like to add that this village in the former Elsass-Lorraine area,
is situated about 6 km north of a place called Selestat, west of the river
Rhein/Rhin, roughly about 40 km south of Strassburg/Strassbourg.
The village name itself is German and is surrounded by German-named
villages.
