My gggrandfather was in the British Royal Artillery I cannot find his
regiment number to get his mllitary papers from England. Military was still
controlled by UK and have been into many websites, e-mailed many people and
have been sent many suggestions on how to get his records to no avail this
is not what I am asking help for.

I have found my grandmother's oldest sister was baptisted in Quebec in 1870
and ordered it from England hoping to find what area/town/fort he was in but
this is all it says "Garrison of Quebec".

Another lead might be the one preforming it:
"C. A. Wetherall Chaplain H. M. Forces"

Could SKS give me some suggestions as to where I might try to find where in
Quebec he was?
