Question on place names--

I have many F-C ancestors connected with the area of Montmorency near Quebec
City (like Château Richer, Monmorency and Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré, Montmorency.
I have run into some notes with family members buried or married at l'Islet,
Montmagny. Any chance that it should rather be l'Islet, Montmorency?
