October 13th - 1307 - 2003
The time has come to once again reflect on the fact that October 13th marked an important day in the history of the Order of the Temple. For it was on that day, 696 years ago that the Templars in France were arrested at dawn, charged with heresy and latterly subjected to tortures beyond belief.
This past October 13th also happened to be Thanksgiving in Canada and as I reflected on all of the things I am thankful for, I paused and give thanks to the Templars of old, for without their existence, the necessity of this web site would be nonexistent.
