Hi, everyone,
Below are the citations in the most recent year of the Bulletin of the Genealogical Society of Old Tryon County (the parent county of Rutherford Co. and other counties in that area).
For those that prefer this information in a MS Word document, email me off-list and I'll send it to you in that format.
In these entries, I copied the entire entry each time, in order to capture the neighbors around these Queen individuals.

A petition for the formation of Columbus Co. (not the present-day Columbus Co.), among the records of the NC General Assembly Session, 1854/1855, Box 12, had these Queen names among other signers:
Marada Quen (sic), John Queen, Charles Queen, Isaac Queen, (a second) Marada Quen, Joseph Queen, John Queen and William Queen. Other familiar family surnames connected with the Queens appear on this list, including Newton, Towry, Knipe, Ivester, McGlamery, etc.
