Are you familiar with the "Sunday Star" newspaper article which profiles the early Queens in Maryland?

Also, are participants in the Queen DNA study from this Queen line is limited at best. Any Queen cousins interested in participating would help fill out and confirm the descendants from the Queens in Maryland.

It is hypothesized that my ancestor Francis Queen may have come from these lines, but there is not sufficient documentation or DNA information on any of the lines to rule in or out one way or the other. However, there is a migration of Marylanders out of this area to the Brushy Mountains of North Carolina between 1750 and 1780, primarily due to religious constraints imposed by the Crown on non-Anglicans. Many of these families coming from Maryland make up lines that married into my Queen line. I have more info if you want to discuss further.
