Carlton Quick

GRANDIN-Carlton Everett Quick, 83, of Grandin died Thursday, Sept. 5,
2002, at Shands at Starke following a brief illness.

Born in Syracuse, N.Y., Mr. Quick moved to Melrose in 2002 from Belleview.
He was a retired building inspector and attended Paran Baptist Church
in Grandin.

Mr. Quick is survived by: a son Lee E. Quick of Grandin; three brothers, Bob
Quick of Birmingham, Ala. and Bill Quick of Syracuse; a sister Eleanor
Currier of Jacksonville and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his
wife Velma Seigler Quick and a daughter Polly Watson.

Memorial services for Mr. Quick were Sept. 7, 2002 in Paran Baptist Church
with the Rev. Robert Mays conducting the services. Interment will be at a later
date in Paran Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of
Keystone Heights.

Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are.
This is here as a lasting memorial for Mr. Quick.
