Pat, this is a big help. My dad and grandfather always referred to R.
Vance's grandfather as King Solomon, I guess that came from the S. in his
middle name.

My great-grandfather was Levi S. Quick, b. 1852. Levi married Martha Turnage
and had Claude, Winnie, and Robert Vance (my grandfather). Robert Vance
Quick married Mamie Haithcock and had my father, Gordon R. Quick, Sr. My
father married Miriam Thomas, having me and my sister Margaret. I married
Lauri Rodgers and have a son Matthew and daughter Caroline.

Below you listed Levi and unknown wife. Is this Levi a decendant of Thomas
Quick, Aquilla Quick,Solomon Quick. George Quick, Levi Quick, and Zachariah
Quick. Is Jane Quick found elsewhere in the line? Looking forward to hearing
from you.
