Actually, you probably might know several of the names in my family. In doing my research I have found many interesting branches since I posted my entry about quick.

I am actually related to the Squier name in Nicholson by both my mother's side and my father's side. (No it's not anything weird). Both my mother and my father's side go back and meet and Stephen Squier and Margaret Magee...the orginal Squier settlers of Nicholson. My mother is a descendant of Stephen and Margaret's son Arah Squier and my father is a descendant of Stephen and Margaret's son George Washington.

I am related to the Stephens by Eliphalet Stephens and Elsie Holloway who orginally setteled Nicholson also. My g-grandmother on my grandfather's mother's side (Marguarite Stephens who married George Albeck and had Stephen Edward, my grandfather).

Just an interesting side note, you might have know my grandfather, Harold Squier or my mother?.. She grew up just outside of Nicholson on a dirt road called Squier Lane.

If you grandmother knew any of those names, I'd love to hear what she remembers. I have really enjoyed tracing my family tree and learning about them.
