Can anyone help me with my connection? I too am related to Tom Quick. My
gr-grandmother was Margaret "Maggie" Quick, b Nov 1858. Her
gr-gr uncle was the Tom Quick. Margaret had a sister Julia Quick who lived
in Port Jervis, N.Y.

Margaret's death certificate states that her mother's name was Jewell
possible Cauthers (not proven it was Cauthers) b in Neversink, NY, and her father's
name was Josiah Quick born in 1821 in NY?

My grandfather's SS application states that his mother's name was Margaret
Luzom.. this was a real surprise to us. Is Luzom an Indian name perhaps as my
grandfather was 1/2 Indian, we think Lenape, but not sure how to prove which
tribe.

Any possible leads would be helpful or any information to a connection. I
have been searching this for a good many years.
