Dean: My Quimby families started in 1622 in Salisbery MA, then Amesbury,
MA, to Portland, ME, to Somersworth, NH, to Deering, ME, and by 1778, Mt.
Vernon, ME, and also Burton, ME. The latter two are the closest to your
early 1800s.
