Raymond Rabb

1928-2004

COLORADO CITY -- Raymond Leon Rabb, the brother of Walter Rabb of Snyder, died Monday, Jan. 26, in an Abilene hospital.

Funeral service for Mr. Rabb, 75, is set for 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church in Westbrook with the Revs. Paul Smith, Bob Manning and Jim Mosley officiating. Burial will follow in the Westbrook Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Born March 1, 1928 in Fort Worth, he was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of the Korean conflict. A resident of Colorado City since 1984, Mr. Rabb was a retired maintenance technician for the Colorado City Housing Authority and for the past 13 years had been the maintenance technician for the First Baptist Church in Westbrook where he was a member.

Survivors also include a sister, Frances Ranne of Westbrook; a sister-in-law, Mary Rabb of Snyder; two nephews, Eddie Ranne of Flower Mound and Jim Sexton of New Walla, Okla.; two nieces, Judy Feaster of Lufkin and Linda Golden of Northport, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. and Edna Sexton Rabb; and a sister, Dorris Britton.
