Looking for information on Rader family. Columbus Rader was married to a Melissa (?) and they had the following children: Eliza b. 1885, Ed (last known residence 1927in KS), Shird (last known residence 1927 New Mexico), Sam (last known residence 1927, Miami Station, MO), Columbus Postel b. 1880. Eliza's married name might have been Thies, (m. to Louie Thies). Miami Station, MO.

Columbus Rader's first wife died and he married Ella/Ellen Ramsey b. 1870 Wayne Co, KY (she later married Wm. Isaac Mikel after Rader's death). Columbus and Ella had the following children in Randolph Co., MO: Daisy b. 1890. Minnie b. 1896, General S. b.1889, Dona b. 1887.

The Ramsey, Mikel, and Rader families all came from Waynes Co. KY together and settled in the Randolph Co. MO area.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for any of the Rader children or any info on who this Columbus Rader's parents were. I found a lot of Columbus Raders in N.C. but can't find a connection to my line. Email me at Thanks!
