John & others, found a children's book in a school library today while
re-shelving as a volunteer,,,, by a Ruby RADFORD.
Also I copied a page a few years ago about "The RADFORD American Homes" 100
house plans Montgomery Ward & Co Chicago, Illinois
This had a copyright date of 1903 by The RADFORD Architectural Co Riverside,
Ill USA Chicago & New York---The book is interesting like telling about 'How
to figure Plastering', # of Nails to a pound, How to find the number of
shingles for a roof, etc, etc. Don't know a thing about this either except I
found the book in the Hampton VA Public Library. Hope to get back to the
RADFORD group soon. Barb in central VA
