Hello Paula,

I am very glad to hear from you and I thank you for all the information that you have passed on to me in your previous message.

I have only just started to research my family tree so I feel very lucky to have found some distant relatives such as yourself and Lorraine.

My grandmother was Lydia Sallnow the daughter of Henry Sallnow. My grandfather was born at 62 Parnell Road in Bow, the home of Henry and his wife Augusta making my grand father a cockney.

I do have a few photos of my great grandmother Lydia. Lydia was quite a slight lady with strong cheekbones something that has been passed on in the following generations. All our family seem to have been passed these traits.

Thank you again for all the information that you have passed on and I will definitely be loking out for the book that you recommended. I hope you have had a nice easter.
