I am looking for information on a John Raine. I do not know much more about him other than on Jan 31, 1828 he married a Jane White in Saint Andrew, Penrith, Cumberland, England. That information is from the LDS files. I do know that at some point them came to America as my gr grandmother (their daughter) was born in New Diggins, Wisconsin in 1848.

Any information that my help would be greatly appreciated as I have not done much, if any searching in United Kingdom and just not sure where to start.
