I have a note that the parents of James are Frank Rainey and Sarah Murphey. I don't know who this Frank was, but wonder if he was related to my Zebulon who lived in adjoining Madison Co, TN, and for some reason went to Henderson Co in 1852 to file pension papers for service during War of 1812. One possibility is that he was visiting relatives. Francis and James are common names in my line, and I think this Frank may have been a son or grandson of my Zebulon Rainey.
