Please note that the e-mail address for me is wrong and I don't know how to change it. The current one is .

My ggg gf, Benjamin M. Raley was b. in Washington Co, GA in 1818, according to his pension ap of the 1836 Creek War. He was in Randoph Co, GA in the 1840's and in Henry Co, AL by 1850. Family lore says he had brothers Henry (killed in the CSA) Nathaniel Green, William Columbus, Charles, and Wilson Lumpkin. Wilson was not b. until 1836 so there may have been different mothers. The younger sons were with Eliza Raley, who was deaf, on the 1850 census of Randolph Co. Of note, both my Benjamen and Nathaniel named sons , both b. in 1847, Jamesy David. We have suspected the same Henry and James you are looking at as their father. If you have any hint we connect, most grateful for the info.

Debbie
