Hi All

I am hoping you might be able to help find information on my Great
Grandfather.

JOHN RAMSAY born about 1852- 53 in Dunluce Co. Antrim. His father was JAMES
or JOHN RAMSAY and his mother was MARY O'NEILL.

As far as I know he was born to a Protestant family and later changed to
Catholic and also the spelling of his name from RAMSAY to RAMSEY. He studied
his trade as a shipwright at Belfast. He married Alice McManus in May 1877
in England . (I already have the marriage certificate) They left for
Australia in December 1877.

I would be greatful for any help
