Hi Folks

Just subscribed to the List in hopes of confirming an old family rumour. The rumour goes something like this...

My great Aunt Elsie Cox emmigrated to NZ in 1881 with her parents and somehow met and married Hugh Ramsay. Apparently they were in China in the late 1930's, getting out before the Japanese arrived because they went to England and that's where the story ends. Or sort of. What family runour would be complete without a famous connection? Hugh is supposed to be related to that famous British Admiral.

If anyone has any hints, advice or suggestions I would sure like to hear back.
