If someone will be the collector of this information (as Ola did for the
Civil War soldiers), it should be possible to build a page of the data,
added to the ECAR site. I would suggest that the info be as specific as
possible, e.g.:
Where did the emigrants live before they went to Texas?
When did they go?
What families moved together, if known?
Where did they live in Texas? (Be prepared for some county line changes
since that time).
If they moved back, when exactly did they come back?
If they moved back, did any family members remain?
Where exactly did they live when they came back?
Are there known contacts for the family members who remained in Texas?
No one can answer all these questions, but we should provide as many
answers as we can.
