In the 1880 census Simeon F Allen is listed with the following family
Mary Jane age 34 wife she is from Macon Co, Al daughter of Thomas
Washington Daughtery
Minnie age 5
George age 3
Paul
Jessie
Sarah Daughtry sister in law.

Simeon and Mary are buried in Macon Co along with their last child Kaite
who died at age 12 in 1898.

Simeon had five children prior to marriage with Mary as follows.

Mary E wife born in 1836 father Lewis Kirby Jackson Co Al
children:
Eliza Caroline married Charles C Barber
Joseph Milton Allen married Alice Lenora Dupriest Tallaposa Co.

John Fletcher Allen married Mary F Allen Coosa Co
Robert Wade Allen married Jessie E Gordon Shelby Co
Mary Alice Allen married Robert Daughtery Macon Co

Jonn F Allen had a son Simeon Fred Allen who was superintendant of Clay Co
Schools in early 1900's.

Simeon and Mary E Allen left Jackson Co Al 1870 to Ark. Mary E . died
and Simeon and children returned via oxen cart in 1871

Simeon F Allen served in 1st Ala Independant Vidette Calvery. He was in
Company B. Captian George F Allen was commander of Company B.
