Who isYancey Thornton Gillum's father? Yancey Thornton Gillum, 1821-1881
married Catharine Mize, 1828-1903, daughter of Sterling Mize, b abt 1801 NC and
Nancy, b abt 1802 GA. Was the father Harris Gillum who lived nearby in New
Site area of Tallapoosa Co. (near Clay Co line). Most of this family migrated
to Clay Co in the Mountain Community. Would also like more info on ancestors
of Sterling Mize.

Sara Elizabeth Henson/Hanson married Thomas Jefferson Sprayberry and resided in
Clay Co. Searching for more info on her parents, Mary C. Hearn and John
Henson/Jonathan Hanson who were in Randolph Co in 1840, 50, & 60.

Mary Whaley married John R. Waldrop in Henry Co., GA in 1837. They were in
Randolph Co in 1860. She was in Tallapoosa Co (near the Clay Co. line) with
son Joshua Waldrop in 1870. Mary's family mostly lived in Clay Co. When did
Mary Whaley Waldrop die and where is she buried?
