I really don't know if this is the right list for the persons I am searching
but Here goes anyway.

My ancestor lived in Tallapoosa Co. and attended the Med school there in the
1800's prior to the civil war. His name was William Clinton Wilkerson. He
married Lucinda Hammock (Hammack) I am interested in the Wilkerson/Hammack
families. After the war, they moved westward to Scott and Smith Co., in
Mississippi.

When I originally signed onto this list, it was the right one but there have
been updates and changes so I really don't know now.

Enjoy the list and have learned a lot of Alabama History sort of things that
have helped in my research of this line as well as others.
