Subject: [RC] BULLOCKS From Georgia to Alabama
Date: Thu, 3 Feb 2000 02:01:05 EST

Hello everybody,

My GG Grandparents, Richard Bullock, b. Ga., m. Kezziah N. ? Bullock, b. Ga.,
16 July, 1809, d. 13 March, 1888, Chilton Co., Al. I am searching for
parent/sibling/Ga. location, and trying to trace their move to Alabama and
Talladega County. Kezziah's maiden name could possibly be
Kennedy/Canada...according to Ga. Census, she says her father born in
Ireland.

Their Children:

Mary N. Bullock, b. 1824, m. John E. Day, b. 1817, Ms., killed in Civil War,
Jackson, Ms., 1862., married second time in Dallas Co., Al., to Peter
Quigley, b. 1811, Ireland.

Caroline Bullock, b. abt. 1830., Talladega Co., m. 1877 to Mordecai Robinson,
b. abt. 1807, Talladega Co., first Probate Judege of Baker/Chilton co. They
had a daughter, Effie Robinson, b. 1883, who married a Johnson, and was
living in Pine Hill (Wilcox Co.), 1940., according to "Chilton County & Her
People".

Nancy B. Bullock, b. 1840. According to Chilton Co., 1880 Census, she is 40
years old and unmarried. What happened to her and where is she buried?

Amanda E. Bullock., b. 1845, m. Reason J. Langston, Chilton Co., Al.

Joe Bullock

My G Grandmother, Martha Jane Bullock, b. 1836, m. George W. Langston,
Chilton Co., Al.

I cannot account for my Richard Bullock, after 1860 Shelby Co., Al., Census,
where he is listed as being 50 years old, nor his son Joe Bullock, who was
listed as being 9 years old.

If Richard Bullock, was indeed born abt. 1810, and Kezziah born in 1809, and
Mary N. Bullock, was b. 1824, they would have been parents at 14 and 15
years.....not impossible, but very unusual even at present time!

Can somebody help me sort my Bullock's, and fill in the blanks? Information
appreciated and shared willingly.

Thanks Ya'll,

Peg
