CHLOE HODGE THURSTON
Wetumpka: The graveside service for Chloe Hodge Thurston, 91, of Wetumpka,
will be at 2pm today., Wednesday, July 12, 1989, with burial in the Pine
Hill Cemetery in Auburn. The Rev. Lowell Ledbetter will officiate.
Mrs. Thurston, who died Tuesday, July 11, at her residence, was born Aug.
17, 1897, in Clay County. She was amember of Farmville Baptish Church and
moved to Auburn in 1930, where she lives until nine months ago.
Survivors include her children, Mable Estes and Dot Whitt of Wetumpka,
Frances and Warren Lazenby and Betty and Julian Rodgers of Auburn, and
Milton and Helen Thurston of Opelika; eight grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren; one brother, L.H. "Doc" Hodge of Wadley.
Visittio was Tuesday at the Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
Jeffcoat Funeral Home of Opelika is directing.
