Here's an additional tidbit I just came across. Gerardus, son of Gerardus
and Antje is buried in the Livingston family cemetery in Poughkeepsie. Here
is the the record:
Given Name: Gerardus
Middle Name/Initial/Maiden/"Title":
Death Month: 1
Death Day: 12
Death Year: 1814
Birth Month:
Birth Day:
Birth Year:
Age Years : 59
Age Months: 7
Age Days: 6
Name(s) of Additional Person(s) Listed on the Stone:
Genealogical Relationships Inscribed on Stone:
Comments About Stone or Individual:
Cemetery Name: Livingston Ground
Type of Cemetery: Family Ground
These inscriptions were transcribed in 1911 and the comment is made that
the enclosure was incorporated into the Poughkeepsie Cemetery in 1914. I
don't know anything about the current condition.
Is there anyone on the list who lives in New York? Mom (Dorrice), doesn't
Aunt Margie want us to come visit her for a couple of days <grin> Or do you
think she would be willing to do a bit of poking about for us?
Liz
