Hi,

I can't help but notice an amazing coincidence. My family emigrated from the village of Chatenois, France, to Washington D.C. early in the 20th century. My great grandfather was named Joseph Rauscher and my great grandmother was named Wilhelmina (I dimly remember that her maiden name was Maul). My understanding is that they both died in the Washington D.C. area and never left.

Just some information on the off chance that it might be relevant.
