John, I am working on research right now, my post are short but I try. Thank
you for all the work on the family pictures. This is a gift that will keep
giving for many years. Putting them on the web will secure them for future
generations. Thanks again.

I did not post about the additional pictures etc. uploaded to the site in
the past couple of weeks as I knew there would be some changes, additional
pictures, and corrections made. So to keep everyone informed who are
interested we did have a change of plans and decided that we would hold off
on some of the larger American projects until we can put some other pictures
from France and a few smaller selections of American pictures on the site.
We did upload a Harskirchen section which so far has one group of family
pictures of Friederique REEB who married a Johann BECK and they moved north
to the city of Sarreguemines and some of their descendants relocated in
other places especially in the northern part of France in the city of LIlle,
Arrondissement of Lille and department of Nord (translation North), the name
explains the location of the department in France very well. These photos
were provided by Claudine Mille a great granddaughter of Friederique REEB
and Jean BECK.
We also have loaded a few pictures of the REEB family members now deceased
of Paulding County, Ohio. They represent two brothers Henri and Jost who
brought families to the U.S. in the middle of 1840s.
Today, John M. uploaded a couple scenes of the snow which fell on Keskastel
the first day of this month. Roger Hochstrasser shared pictures of his home
and one of the same street where the Church can be seeen in the distance. I
am very happy to have received those beautiful pictures.
I am going to try to complete a small group of my own pictures taken in
Pisdorf (now Bischtroff-sur-Sarre). My photography skills beg for every ones
forgiveness but luckily I can add 4 or 5 photos given to me by Roger in the
past couple of years.
