Hi Sandi,
I was hoping you would respond, as you were the one who addressed the
possibility of
my Nathan REED's connection to your Harrison, Sanford and Nathan REED
brothers, which
I believe I have now disproven.

And, you may have already seen this, for your family, but I am passing
it along just in case--

1840 Census, Washington Twp, Montgomery Co., OH (page 294)
Harrison REED - Head of Household
Males-
Age 0-5 (1)
Age 15-20 (1)
Age 20-30 (1)
Females-
Age 20-30 (1)

1840 Census, No town stated, Montgomery Co., OH (page 290)
Nathan REED - Head of Household
Males-
Age 0-5 (1)
Age 5-10 (2)
Age 20-30 (2)-----Probably Nathan REED and another unknown Male age 20-30
Females-
Age 60-70 (1) ---Possibly the mother of Nathan, Harrison and Sanford REED ?
(Sounds like Nathan REED is widowed with 3 boys under the age of 10 and
his aged mother
is helping with the kids ???

Next Household (p 290) is
John MERRILL -HOH
Males
Age 60-70 (1)
Females
Age 60-70 (1)

Next Household (p 290) is
Sanford REED - HOH
Males
Age 20-30 (1) ---this would be Sanford REED, apparently single and
living alone.

Other REED HOH names listed on the 1840 census for--
No township stated, Montgomery Co., OH- are--
Barbara, Charles, Elizabeth, Gilbert, Isaac, Jacob(2), James, John(5),
Jonathan, Joseph T., McQwire,
Nelson, Peter, Samuel, Starkey, Thomas and William REED

I am going to sleuth around and see if I can find anything else, which
might be helpful to you.
I am sure it must have been wonderful to have the opportunity to
photograph the family gravestones.
Thanks for responding,
Diana
