Subject: War of 1812/Creek Indian War

I could sure use some help and guidance! My ggg'grandfather died near
Mobile, AL, in 1814 due to illness. He was with the 39th Tennessee Infantry
and enlisted during the War of 1812. I can't seem to find the names of the
forts near Mobile at that time. Is there a history buff lurking in the wings
who could help me?
