Hello,
I am looking for any information on my REUTER/REUTHER/RUTHER relatives
who emigrated to Newark, NJ about 1860 from Westphalia, Germany. My
greatgrandfather was William REUTHER, but the name was later mostly spelled
RUTHER. He married Ludwina DANIEL in Newark, NJ in a Catholic church in 1863.
I am trying to find exactly where in Westphalia, Germany the family came
from and if William came alone or was accompanied by parents and/or siblings.
