HADAWAY, Mona Grace (nee REYNOLDS)
Mona Hadaway, in her 87th year, on Thursday, March 30, 2000, from a stroke.
Beloved wife of James (Jim) Hadaway. Much loved mother of Jim and his wife
Rena, Lorraine and her husband Herb Mageira, Sandra and her husband Jim
Aiken.
Mona (Nana) will be missed by her grandchildren, Selina and her husband
Mario Spudic, Rhonda and her husband Bill La Mantia, Jim Hadaway III, Ron
Hadaway and his wife Laurette, Glen Hadaway and his girlfriend Cindy, Linda
and her husband Gene Gill, Elisa and her husband David Newman, James Aiken
and his wife Odette,
Jonathan Aiken and his wife Karen.
Predeceased by Laura Aiken. Mona was the great-grandmother of Rebecca,
Caitlin and Lukas Gill, Samantha Newman, James Aiken III and Amber Rose
Aiken. Predeceased by Tyler Newman, also great-grandmother to Mark and Julie
Spudic, Willy, R.J. and Marianne La Mantia, Melissa and Jennifer Hadaway,
and Courtney and James Hadaway. Loved
sister of Barbara and her husband Pat Moriarty. Predeceased by her sisters
Alice and Rita, and her brother Fred Reynolds. Mona was the daughter of Fred
and Margaret Reynolds.
She grew up in the town of Weston, married there and that is where her three
children were born. She spent many of her adult years in Weston before
moving to the Kleinburg area to a home Jim and
Mona considered to be a little bit of paradise. In the last year she and
her husband Jim have lived in Gilford.
Friends may call on Monday, April 3rd from 2 p.m. until time of funeral
service at 3 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home ''Newmarket Chapel'' 524 Davis
Drive, Newmarket. Cremation. Please send donations in lieu of flowers to the
