Thanks for sending the file , Paul. Some of the names such as Henry and Moses, I have found also in the Crawford and DeWitt County censuses. The 1900 DeWitt Census shows a Moses Reynolds as a "servant." There is a James Reynolds with a very large family that just immigrated from IRE. There are so many "same" names that it is time-consuming trying to figure out who goes with who, and dates. I noticed the Richard Reynolds. I live in Beaufort, SC. In the Baptist Church of Beaufort graveyard, there is a Confederate tombstone with Richard M. Reynolds, Stuart's CO, Beaufort SC ARTY. He is buried in the Reynolds/Lawton plot. There is Adelaide E. Reynolds wife of Judson Lawton, b. Feb 15, 1853, d. Oct 2, 1932, Judson Lawton, Confederate States Army, b. Nov 18, 1835, d. June 18, 1922. There is a large slab tombstone of Ann Eliza Reynolds, daughter of Robert and ? Oswald. The writing is poor on this stone, but I believe it to be, died on March 8, 1859. It says she was 32 yr!
s, 3 months, and 10 days old.

Since my gr-grandparents were Weslyan Methodist, from Irish origin, I have been concentrating on Canada. Found several Reynolds in Ontario, close to the border (near Detroit). Some where born in US, then went to Canada, then came back. My Laura Reynolds was Laura Rousey Warner Reynolds. She goes back to the McGinnis family line. I have a huge genealogy list of this family that goes way back. I am waiting to hear from Mrs. Hazel Provin Reynolds, widow of Dean Reynolds. Dean was James Irvin and Laura Rousey Reynold's son. Dean just passed away in Bloomington, IL. I am hoping that Hazel can tell me exactly where James Daniel Reynolds came from. I also do not think that my gr-grandmother's mother was Sarah Turner of KY. Her obituary says "Sallie", but the year of marriage to George White, Isabella's father does not correlate to her birth. There were other children listed in the census whose birth year did not correspond with the "Sarah" that showed as George's wife. !
So, I am thinking, not assuming, that Sarah could be Sallie, and Isabella born to another woman, possibly a Meloni ? All of Isabella's people seem to be in Casey County, KY, and Crawford County, IL.

I am keeping the file you gave me on record so I can compare further info I get. Even though I have been tracing these Reynolds for almost 2 years, I feel like a beginner!

Thank you again for the file.
Shari
