I've had luck tracking down living persons by using some of the resources at www.stevemorse.org.? I used
http://www.stevemorse.org/birthday/privateeye.html?to search for a woman by first name and birthdate.? She had died, but I was able to identify her adult children's names?and find them at www.switchboard.com.? Associated persons are grouped in some responses, which can lead you to identify relatives.? Also, on Ancestry, there are directory and other public records databases that can ID relatives.? Some of the paid people searches can help, too, as a last resort.

Good luck.

I would like to contact relatives of William M. and Annie Reynolds who were
living in Wylam, Alabama, in the 1930's. Wylam is a suburb of Birmingham,
Alabama. William and Annie are my great uncle and aunt. My mother was
Calera Reynolds Gunter. If you are related to them or know anything about
them, please let me know.
