died in 1947-48 in california").

Since my Geroge RHOADS was b. 1789, that's abt. 91 years before your
Ernest.
Sorry I can't help you.

I've recently met several RHOADS researchers who have begun to help me
with my George RHOADS and Catherine RHOADES...there is a RHOADS-BOONE
connection were looking into. I'll keep a lookout for any Ernests.

You mentioned Clifford RHODES...
Oddly enough, I have a Clifford Ivan ROTH who was a granduncle b.
19-OCT-1875 Brocton, Edgar Co. IL.

Were you aware of the ROTE-ROTH-RHOADS-RHODES-
RHOADES-ROADS interchange? My RHOAD(E)S ancestors are in my maternal
line...I'm in the process of discovering if they were, in any way,
related to my paternal ROTH line...? Say ROTE or ROTH with a heavy
German accent and you get RHODT-RHODES-etc. {:-)
